Independent Study

Independent study contracts are not allowed for students at Grossmont High School.  If you plan to take your student out of school for a trip, your student must let her/his teachers know in advance so that s/he might be able to collect work beforehand.

Homework Requests

Homework requests are best suited for those students who will be out for three or more days.  In order to get the best results, parents can contact the teachers directly through email and copy the academic advisor.  Teachers will respond directly with information by email and/or will leave work with the counseling office.  Parents can contact the academic advisor for the respective grade levels to see if any work has been left for the student before coming to pick anything up.  The academic advisors are listed below.
