New News:

Hey Hillers!  Good job dressing up in your favorite 90’s gear! Show your spirit and dress up for 3017, or “futuristic” tomorrow.

Hey Seniors!  On your mark, get set, go! Go vote for yourself or some of your friends for senior standouts. Whether it be for best smile or most spirited, make sure to nominate. Voting will be up all week on tallyspace.com/vote/grossmont

Powder Puff:  Want to play Powder Puff? Then don't forget, the last day to turn in your packets is tomorrow at lunch in the ASB room.

Royal Blue Regiment Summer Band Camp:  For any student interested in being a part of the 2017-2018 Royal Blue Regiment Marching Band, we will be holding a summer band camp.  The camp is open to all Grossmont students and will run Monday through Friday for two weeks, starting July 31st.  Come on out, make some new friends, have fun, alleviate summer boredom, and learn some new skills.

Foothillers:  Do you want to win up to $250?  Are you creative?  Do you want to make a difference in your school and community? There is a contest for Marijuana Prevention Arts and Video PSA contest open to all HS and MS students.  The deadline is TOMORROW.  See Karin Dann in the Counseling Office for details.

Foothillers:  What is your Natural High?  What are you passionate about?  Natural High Foundation has launched their 2017 Video and Essay Contest from March 1 thru April 30th.  Top 4 entries win  $250.  The grand prize winner will be invited to attend their annual Gala, and be a part of their next celebrity filming.  See Karin Dann in the Counseling Office for details.

Volunteer Opportunity:  Emerald Middle School is having a "Color For College" Run on Friday April 7th at 2:30 p.m.  They are raising money for college field trips and other college readiness activities. They need volunteers to help with the event and you can earn volunteer hours having fun.  You could help in a variety of activities from color powder throwing, distributing water, photography and in many other ways.  See Karin Dann in the Counseling Office for details.

Volunteer Opportunity:  Chase Avenue Elementary School Spring Arts Festival is looking for volunteers to help on May 10 from 4:15-7:00 P.M. Anyone interested in helping, please see Mrs. Thren in room 565

Club Meetings:

Grossmont Inclusion Club:  GIC will meet TODAY during lunch at the fields behind auto for a friendly game of kickball with Club Impact.  See you there!
