New News:

Food Drive:  There are 840 million hungry people in the world. If every student brings just one can of food, we can feed more than 500 families. You can help those in need by simply donating cans of food to your fourth period anywhere between Monday, December 1st to Friday, December 19th.    

Friday Dress Up Day: Tomorrowis Building Color Dress Up Day. Your color corresponds with the building where your 4th period class is located.  The 200 Art Building is purple, the 700 Math Building is red, the 1400 English Building is yellow, the 1100 Science Building is green, the 500 Tech Building is blue, the 800 History Building is black, and the 600 building (Foggiano, Ecker, and Dr. B) is pink. Help your building win by dressing up as your group color.

Attention Seniors:  Come to the Football field at lunch next Wednesday, December 17th for the senior class photo.  We will take the photo 10 minutes after the bell rings, so get there quick!  Reminder that any student with inappropriate clothing, gestures, etc. will face a $300 retouching fee for the photo.

Winter Formal:  Tomorrow is your last day to buy your Winter Formal ticket. Don't wait till the last minute. Tickets are available in the Finance Office.

Need Books?  Come to the library next week and check out the BOOK FAIR.  You can get all your holiday shopping done in one place with BOOKS!

Attention All Girls Volleyball Players:  If you are planning on attending the volleyball banquet this Sunday, please turn in your money ASAP to Coach Lindeen either in the front office or in the P.E. office. Thank you!

Dance Concert:  There is a Dance Concert tonight at 6:00 p.m.  Tickets are $3.00 for students and $5.00 general admission.  You will be treated to an evening of Jazz, Hip-Hop, and Contemporary dances inspired by Disney films.

Annual Winter Choir Concert:  The Red Robe Choir will present the Annual Winter Concert next Monday, December 15th, at 7 PM.  The program is presented without cost to concert goers.  This means you pay "NOTHING" yes, that"s NOTHING or "NO MONEY" to attend a concert presented by one of the finest choirs in San Diego County.  The choir will be accompanied by members of the San Diego Symphony, and, in addition to Vivaldi's marvelous "Gloria" you can hear Sam Alper, Lisa Moore and --- wait for it.... RYAN BARNES!!!! All singing fantastic solos!  The concert will be presented at Fletcher Hills Presbyterian Church located at 445 Church Way (in El Cajon)  or think of it as right above Beef n' Bun.  See you there!!

Friday Night Live Club:  FridayNight Live Club will be meeting today during student lunch in the counseling office conference room.  Bring your lunch and come help us plan a January activity. 

Bubble Grams:  AVID Club is selling $1.00 Holiday Bubble Grams! Come to the blue stage at lunch today and tomorrow this week to purchase a Bubble Gram to show your friends you care this holiday.

Work Permits:  If you are planning on getting a work permit during the holidays, you must see Mrs. Santoro in the GRC as soon as possible.  Work Permit applications take 3 days to process and there is no where to get a work permit processed during the break.
