New News:

Senior Parking Lot Auction:  If you would like to purchase a parking space in the Senior Lot, the auction is this Thursday, September 11th, at 5:30 in the Old Gym.  Licensed drivers from any grade are invited to bid.  You will need a parking permit issued to your vehicle in order to be able to purchase a space.  Applications are available in the office, and will be available at the auction.  Be sure to have you license, registration, and insurance documentation with you.

Attention All Performers:  On Friday at lunch in the Little Theatre in room 615, there is an important meeting to prepare you for auditions for the fall theatre production.  Please attend if you are interested.

Music Lovers:  Would you like to hear a specific song played at the Homecoming Dance?  Come to the ASB room during lunch with the song title and artist.

Work Out Club:  Work Out Club is back!  Starting today, 7th period, in the Old Gym, We will meet everyTuesdayWednesdayThursday in the Old Gym 7th period to work out. See ya there! 

CSF:  The California Scholarship Federation is the oldest scholastic scholarship institution in the state of California. It is a well recognized scholastic achievement by most universities and colleges.  CSF emphasizes in high academic standards as well as community service. If you are interested in becoming a member, stop by Mr. Lee’s classroom- Science Building Room 1130 to pick up an application.  The deadline to apply is September 26

Students:  Ohio State University will have a representative on campus Monday, September 15th. If you are interested in hearing their presentation, stop by the counseling office and sign up.

Pep Assembly:  The Nominations Pep Assembly is THIS Friday in the Old Gym during the morning break.  Be there or be square!

Band Car Wash:  Are you driving around a dirty car?  Have some bugs or bird droppings on your windshield?  You're in luck!  Your Grossmont High School Royal Blue Regiment Marching Band and Colorguard is hosting a car wash this Sunday, September 14th, at Tipton Honda in El Cajon.  Drive on by to get your vehicle cleaned for a $5 donation to the program.  Discounted coupons will be in the parking lot on Thursday or all week in the band room.  Hope to see you there Hillers!  The band thanks you for your support!

Juniors and Seniors:  Are you interested in taking evening ROP classes? We currently have openings in Auto Body Repair and Veterinary Assistant classes. Stop by and see your counselor for more information.

Reminder:  You must bring your ID card or schedule to the library to check out a textbook.  If you do not have your ID card or schedule, you will not be issued a textbook.
