New News:

Christian Club:  Games, pizza, and a small discussion will be happening at Impact GHS Christian Club which will meet today at lunch in Mr. Patterson’s room 1404!

Boy’s Pre-Season Soccer Meeting:  The meeting will be today at 3:00pm.  We will meet at the east side stadium bleachers.  Any players interested in JV or varsity Boy’s Soccer should attend.

Softball:  All girls interested in playing this spring come to the cafeteria at lunch on Thursday October 2  for a mandatory meeting.

Volunteers Needed:  Northmont Elementary is looking for volunteers to work at their Halloween Carnival on Saturday, October 25th, from 3pm -7pm.  Volunteers would be helping with the inflatables, running carnival games, and in the haunted house.  For more information, see Karin Dann in the counseling office at the far end of the hallway on the left.

College-Bound Sophomores and Juniors:  Sign up for the PSAT!  GHS will be administering the PSAT on Wednesday, October 15th.  The cost is $20.  Sign up at the Finance Office or online at the webstore today.  There are a limited number of tests, so don't procrastinate. Take advantage of this opportunity to get ready for the SAT.

Want FREE test prep for the PSAT, SAT, CAHSEE and more?  TERC is an online database you can find a link to on the library website or just stop by the library for details.

Library Hours:  The Library has new extended hours. The Library is now open until 4:00 on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and open until 3:00 on Wednesdays.  Stop by for a cool place to study, tutorials, and computer access.

Save The Date:  You've "Got Plans" on Saturday, October 11th, at Cuyamaca College. This may be the most important date you make this year!  Look for the “Got Plans” poster in your classroom, and make plans to attend "Got Plans".  All Grossmont students and parents are invited.
