New News:

Hey Hillers!  Don't forget this week is the last week to get your $10 yearbook before spring break!  It's a great deal to check out a piece of Foothiller history!  Come on down to the Finance Office or ASB Store!

Juniors and Seniors:  We will have a representative from Southern Utah University and a representative from National University's EMT program here on campus April 24th and and April 27th. If you are interested in hearing their presentation, stop by the Career Center and sign up.

Attention Seniors:  Prom is May 27th. Prom bids go on sale Monday, April 24th. All students attending Prom must have the Clearance form signed off before purchasing their bid. Clearance forms and Guest Passes will be available Monday, April 24th in the Main Office, Library, and Finance Office. All fines must be cleared before your Prom bid may be purchased. Please take care of any fines immediately.

If you are interested in taking the LOTE (Language other than English Test) in Standard Arabic please see your counselor, Academic Advisor, Mrs. Phillips or Mrs. Raymond for more information and to sign up. The test will be on Thursday, April 27 and you must register by Monday, April 24.  Passing the test with a score of proficient or advanced will allow you to meet the A-G foreign language requirement.

Foothillers:  What is your Natural High?  What are you passionate about?  Natural High Foundation has launched their 2017 Video and Essay Contest from March 1 thru April 30th.  Top 4 entries win  $250.  The grand prize winner will be invited to attend their annual Gala, and be a part of their next celebrity filming.  See Karin Dann in the Counseling Office for details.

Volunteer Opportunity:  Emerald Middle School is having a "Color For College" Run on Friday April 7th at 2:30 p.m.  They are raising money for college field trips and other college readiness activities. They need volunteers to help with the event and you can earn volunteer hours having fun.  You could help in a variety of activities from color powder throwing, distributing water, photography and in many other ways.  See Karin Dann in the Counseling Office for details.

Volunteer Opportunity:  Chase Avenue Elementary School Spring Arts Festival is looking for volunteers to help on May 10 from 4:15-7:00 P.M. Anyone interested in helping, please see Mrs. Thren in room 565

 

Club Meetings:

Grossmont Inclusion Club:  TODAY at lunch, GIC will host a game of Musical Chairs at the Blue Stage. Come win prizes including gift cards from McDonald's and Starbucks!  See you there!
