New News:

Put the INVOLVED in PRIDE!  Make sure to return old textbooks and to pay other fines you might have.

New Cafeteria “Speedline”:  We have started a new “Speedline” at the Student Store (AKA Hiller’s Outpost) in the lower quad.  This new process allows students to get meals more quickly during nutrition break and lunch.  Only meals are served in this line.  Slushies, snacks, and other a la carte items will still be served at the front windows.

Save the date!  You’ve “Got Plans” on SATURDAY, September 30th at GROSSMONT College. This may be the most important date you make this year. Look for the Got Plans? posters and make plans to attend Got Plans? All Grossmont High School students and parents are invited.

Juniors:  Are you a good listener?    Are you a person who likes to help others?  Then you should apply to become a Peer Listener!  The applications are available in the GRC for a limited time.

Students:  When listening to music during school hours and at school events, please use your headphones.  No amplified music is allowed during these times.  Thank you.

Blood Drive:  The first blood drive for this year will be on September 28. Please come donate and save lives. You have to weigh more than 114 pounds, be at least 16 years old, and other requirements that will be discussed at Mr. Ridgway's Room 775. Choose the time you would like to donate at tiny.cc/bdinfo. Hope to see you there!

CSF:  The California Scholarship Federation is the oldest scholastic scholarship institution in the state of California. It is well recognized by most universities and colleges. If you are interested in applying, applications are now available in Mr. Lee’s classroom, #1130, located in the Science building. Deadline to apply is October 3rd.

Dodgeball:  Don´t forget Hillers, Dodgeball is coming up next Wednesday, September 27th. Get your packets in the ASB Room ASAP!  Packets, along with a $30 entry fee, are due by TOMORROW at lunch.

Club Meetings:

Grossmont Inclusion Club:  TODAY the GIC will host a water balloon toss at the Blue Stage at lunch.  Come toss water balloons and earn prizes.  See you there!

Dance Team:  There is a Dance Team meeting on Friday in the Dance Room to discuss our first dance piece for the year.
