New News:

Hey Hillers!  October is Domestic Violence Awareness month so Girl’s Rock Club is having a Toiletry Drive for Rachel’s House of domestic violence victims. Please donate to your period 4 class before Thursday, October 26th. The class with the most donations will win a donut party! Some examples of things to donate are: Shampoo, toothpaste, mouthwash, etc.

Foothillers!  Next week, all juniors will be taking the English language Interim Assessment. Juniors will be tested from 7:15 to 9:15 on Tuesday, Oct. 24, and Thursday, Oct. 26. All students will be following a modified bell schedule on testing days. Please see the posted schedule in your classrooms.  Juniors, room assignments for testing are posted in your English classroom. Don’t hesitate to ask your English teacher if you have any questions about this assessment.

Hey Foothillers!  Don't miss the Grossmont Vocal Music Fall Concert TONIGHT in downtown San Diego at 320 Date Street at 7:00pm.  Tickets are $7.00 for adults and $5.00 for students and will sell out!  Stop by the Choir Room, room 625, to grab your tickets before they're gone!  This is a vocal music concert you won't want to miss!

Boy’s Golf:  All boys interested in playing golf this spring, please come to an informational meeting on Friday at lunch in Coach Giovengo's room, 535. We will have information about tryouts and the upcoming season.

Juniors:  The last day to turn in Peer Listening applications is this Friday, October 20.  Be sure to get yours in before the deadline.

Girls Soccer:  Try-outs are less than a month away, be sure to have your Athletic Packet completed and signed by the Finance Office.  You MUST have this completed, signed and turned into Coach Ramos BEFORE you can try out.

The 8th Annual Christmas Tree & Wreath Fundraiser is here!  You can PRE - ORDER your fresh, locally grown tree & wreath today.  ALL boys & girls water polo players can help you!  Thank you for your support!  Last day to order is Thursday, Nov. 9th...Don't miss out!  Questions?  Ask Coach McLaughlin or stop by her classroom 760. The Christmas trees & Wreaths will be HERE Sunday, Dec.3rd in our Tree Lot...the NEW AUTO SHOP.

CETYS Universidad:  There will be a college visit from CETYS Universidad - which is the only institution outside the US that is accredited.  This school works the same way other universities do, except they focus on the Hispanic population.  The visit will be TOMORROW at 11:05.

Korean Pop (K-Pop) Club:  TODAY, we will be watching K-Pop music videos, and we meet every Tuesday in Mr. Steveson's room, #840.

 

Educator's Rising Club:  We are meeting this Thursday at lunch in Mrs. Thren’s room, 565.
