New News:

 

Mardi Gras 2018:  Congratulations to Luke Johnson and Rushin Aryan, the elected King and Queen of Mardi Gras 2018.

 

Hey Foothillers!  TODAY is our LAST home basketball game and it's against our biggest rival, Helix.  You can show your school spirit by wearing BLUE AND GOLD to the game! Girls start at 5:30 and Boys at 7:00.  Chick-fil-a will be there again -- so be there or be square!

 

AP Tests:  Advanced Placement tests go on sale in the finance office or on the school's webstore TODAY.  Sales will continue until March 23rd, no exceptions.  Purchase forms can be picked up in the Main Office, the Finance Office, or in room 825.

 

Seniors:  Last date to purchase and create senior ads is TODAY.  Go to the Hillers website for further information and instructions.  Don't forget to tell your parents that would be a perfect graduation gift!

 

CSF: The California Scholarship Federation is the oldest scholastic scholarship institution in the state of California. It is well recognized by most universities and colleges.  If you are interested in applying, applications are now available in Mr. Lee’s classroom #1130 located in the Science building. Deadline to apply is February 20th.

 

Attention Boys Tennis:  The first day of tryouts has been moved to Tuesday, February 13th.  All are welcome.  Be sure that you have your spring sports clearance from the finance office or you will not be allowed to tryout!  If you have any questions, see Coach Hedberg in room 1105.

 

Seniors:  Just a reminder that time is running out to have your senior picture taken and put into the yearbook.  The deadline to be photographed is Monday, February 5th.  Visit their website, www.boydanderson.com or call 619-444-1184 for an appointment.  Don't be left out!  

 

FREE TEST PREP MATERIALS:  Students if you need free test prep materials including the SAT, ACT, AP subject tests and more go the the Grossmont Library page and click on "Prep Step."  See the librarian with any questions!

 

Sophomores and Juniors:  Are you interested in learning more about an Alt Ed program known as Grossmont Middle College.  If so, come to the CCC (College and Career Center) to sign up for the presentation to be held on Friday, February 16th at noon.  

 

Dance Concert:  On Valentine's day, February 14th, at 6:30 pm in the Old Gym.

 

Blood Drive & Pancake Breakfast:  In Memory of Captain Ryan on Saturday, February 24th from 8 am to 1:30 pm.  In the parking lot of Saint Andrews Lutheran Church, 8350 Lake Murray Blvd, San Diego, CA 92119.  To schedule an appointment to donate blood, visit www.sandiegobloodbank.org and click on “Donate Blood Today” and search by date.
