Hey Hillers! Come down to the lower quad during lunch today to see what kindness is all about and to show what kindness is to you!

Parent Shadow Day:  Reminder thatthis Friday is Parent Shadow Day, and we will be on a Minimum Day schedule.

Are you ready for parent shadow day this Friday?  Not only will you get to bring your parent to school, but you get to TWIN with them too, because Friday is also TWIN DAY!

Annual NJROTC Turkey Shoot:  The Grossmont NJROTC Rifle Team will be hosting the annual Turkey Shoot on Friday, 17 November in Portable #2. The contest will begin at 0730 and ends at 1300. Three dollars for three shots, high score wins. Good Luck!!!!!!  Our Cadets thank you for your support.

Hungry to Help? You CAN! The USDA estimates that 42 million people, including 13 million children, in the United States are food insecure; 1 in 8 individuals and 1 in 6 children live in households without consistent access to adequate food; Children who are food-insecure are in poorer health and are likely to be developmentally at-risk.  Please bring cans and non perishable foods to your fourth period class for the Canned Food Drive November 27 - December 14!  There will be a class competition!

GHS Girls:  The Girls Rock Club is sponsoring a self defense class on our campus on Wednesday, November 29th.  If you're interested, please see Mrs. Manuel or Mrs. Dawson in the Counseling Office.  Any GHS girls are invited to join us for this empowering activity, but space is limited, and you must return the permission slips with $15 to the Finance Office by this Friday morning!

Seniors!  Have you completed your FAFSA yet?  It is important that you access financial aid no matter where you go to school next year.  Make sure to complete the FAFSA at www.fafsa.gov and check out our website for more information.  www.foothillers.com, click on Counseling and scroll down to access the presentation and upcoming workshops!

Swimmers & Divers:  There will be a lunch meeting TODAY at the pool at lunch for information regarding pre-season club training.
