New News:

It’s breast cancer awareness week!  Did you know 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime?  Don’t forget Friday is pink out!  Wear all pink to show your support for breast cancer!

JUNIORS taking the PSAT!!  We have changed the testing location for the PSAT tomorrow.  You will be getting  a notice today in class telling you where to check in tomorrow morning.  Please see Krista Santoro in the counseling office at the end of today if you do not receive a notice.

Foothillers! In less than two weeks, all juniors will be taking the English Language Interim Assessment. This is an online assessment that will test your reading, writing, listening, and research/inquiry skills. Ask your English teacher if you have any questions about this assessment.  Juniors will be tested from 7:15 to 9:15 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 24 and Thursday, Oct. 26. All students will be following a modified bell schedule on testing days. Please see the posted schedule in your classrooms, and visit our website for further details.

CETYS Universidad:  There will be a college visit from CETYS Universidad - which is the only institution outside the US that is accredited.  This school works the same way other universities do, except they focus on the Hispanic population.  The visit will be on Wednesday, October 18th, at 11:05.

Club Meetings:

 

Green Club:  We are meeting TODAY at lunch in room 1135, Mr. Holcomb's class room.  Volunteer with Jaye for the Melanoma Walk Saturday AND help Yolanda organize the next beach cleanup!

Korean Pop (K-Pop) Club:  We meet TODAY and every Tuesday in Mr. Steveson's room, #840.

Educator's Rising Club: We are meeting this Thursday in Ms. Thren's room, 565. It is movie day!  See you there!

Hey Hillers! Have you ever wanted to showcase your talent? Do you like playing games with your friends? Drama Club is a safe place to express yourself, play fun improv games, and have a good time! Drama Club meets Thursdays at lunch in the Little Theatre (rm 615). See you there!
