Please visit us in our new Counseling Office and our new College & Career Center, located on the second floor of the new Main Office/Student Services building!

SENIOR EXIT SURVEY

All seniors must complete this survey (click here).  It helps our counselors make sure we recognize our outstanding seniors at Senior Awards Night.  It also assists us in gathering data to better counsel our future Foothillers.  Thanks!

TRANSCRIPT REQUESTS

Transcripts are NOT automatically sent to colleges for our graduating seniors.  Please read all messages from colleges and be sure to request a transcript if your college requires it.  Official transcripts can be requested by completing a form in our Registrar's office on the first floor of the main office.  Be sure to write the address correctly and legibly.  If the request is for a final transcript to be sent after grades post, please write "FINAL TRANSCRIPT" at the top.

POST-SECONDARY PLANNING FOR JUNIORS

Counselors are presenting this information to juniors in their history classes this week. Students will also be using the College Search feature of Career Cruising to explore their postsecondary options and develop a list of colleges to consider.  Senior year is almost here!

SUMMER SCHOOL 2017 AT GHS

One session of summer school will be offered at GHS from June 12th - June 30th from 7:30am-12:30pm.  Students may make up a D or F in one semester course.  Applications are accepted on a first come, first served basis.  Please click here for the summer school application.

SUMMER READING 2017

Did you request an honors or AP course for next year?

Please click here for an assignment for Sophomore English.  It is recommended that you get a head start by completing this work during the summer!  Students who do not complete this during the summer will need to read 15-20 pages and work on the study guide each night during the first three weeks of school.

Please click here for the suggested reading (not required) for 11th grade AP English Literature and 12th grade AP English Language.

There are no summer reading assignments for honors/AP social science courses, nor freshman honors English.
