Grossmont High School is partnering with San Diego Youth Services for the 4th year in a row to offer “Check Your Mood” to all 9th & 10th graders. This program focuses on educating youth and their families on depression and to reduce the stigma around seeking help for mental health issues. Starting November 1st through November 10th, SDYS will be presenting curriculum in classrooms, staffing an informational table at lunch, and providing additional support for students that express interest and/or need. Parent awareness is integral to the success of this program. Please **CLICK HERE** additional information -
You can preview what your child will learn and find out how you can help. 9th and 10th grade students received permission slips, to share with parents, on October 19 & 20.
